After fostering and growing Gaelic Games in North America since the first Irish immigrants arrived centuries earlier, in 2024 USGAA entered an All-Ireland Championship for the first time. This was the culmination of 20-years of investment in Youth Development across the US.

Led by the USGAA Steering Committee, and with the support of our partners and our divisions and clubs, over 150 US-born players took part in trials and training camps, after which a 28-player panel was selected to represent USGAA in the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship.

On July 12th, at the GAA Centre of Excellence, in Abbottstown, Dublin, USGAA made history when taking on London in the All-Ireland semi-final. Despite an agonizing 1-point defeat, getting to this point was a huge success for USGAA, and something for all to be proud of.

As we embark on Year 2 of this historic project, we thank all who have made this happen, and wish every success to our 2025 USGAA Mens Football team.
