USGAA BRAND AND LOGO GUIDELINES.
Hello! We’ve created some guidelines to help you use our brand and assets, including our logo. To make any use of our marks in a way not covered by these guidelines, please contact us at pro.usa@gaa.ie and include a visual mockup of intended use.
Naming
-
The name of the organization is USGAA and no other variation should be used. Here’s a list of other names you should never use:
-
U.S. GAA
-
U.S.G.A.A.
-
United States Gaelic Athletic Association
-
United States GAA
-
North American Board or any variation of
-
NACB
-
Angry Hula Hoops Anonymous
-
Any other name
-
-
Do not register a domain containing “USGAA” (including misspellings, transliterations or similar variations) if it could make people think that USGAA provides or officially supports anything offered from that domain. That would be very uncool.
-
Do not apply for a trademark with a name including “USGAA”, transliterations or similar variations thereof.
-
The national playoff competition that takes place in September, usually on Labor Day weekend, is to be known as USGAA Finals. All other variations are not acceptable.
Usage
The USGAA marks include the USGAA name and logo, and any word, phrase, image, or other designation that identifies the source or origin of USGAA products. Please don’t modify the marks or use them in a confusing way, including suggesting sponsorship or endorsement by USGAA, or in a way that confuses USGAA with another brand or organization (including your own).

Visual design of your website or brand

Playing Gear & Equipment
-
We ask that all USGAA affiliated clubs use the USGAA logo on the right breast position of the jersey, where the GAA logo would have traditionally been placed.
-
Do not use the USGAA logo and the GAA logo at the same time on the same playing gear.
-
To use the USGAA logo on other merchandise please use within the guidelines described in this document
-
Do not use the USGAA name, the USGAA logo, or any other confusingly similar marks on any apparel, product, toy, or any other merchandise designed for commercial profit without the permission of the USGAA.
