March 31st

Inter-county transfer deadline for all codes. If you are coming from Ireland, Canada, New York, UK, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Asia, etc. – anywhere outside USGAA – you need to complete your transfer by this date.

April 30th

USGAA Player Registration deadline date. Also the deadline for USGAA club-to-club transfers.

July 1st

Sanction and Permits deadline. NOTE: This used to be July 20th for men, but was changed that at the 2016 convention in San Diego.

August 1st

Homegrown players who have never previously registered with an adult GAA club may register with a USGAA club on or before August 1st.

USGAA Sanctions and J1 Sanctions must be submitted using the online system.

Ladies Gaelic Football - J1 Permit (Sanction) form

For Ladies Gaelic Football players on J1 Visas – needed to temporarily move from a club in Ireland to one in the USGAA

Ladies Gaelic Football - Standard Permit (Sanction) Form

For any Ladies Gaelic Football players not on a J1 – needed to temporarily move from a club in Ireland to one in the USGAA

Camogie - CC6 Official Sanction Form (Updated May 2019)

For Camogie players – needed to temporarily move from a club in Ireland to one in the USGAA

Transfer Forms

USGAA Intercounty Transfers

This is the online system for Men’s club secretaries or registrars to process any intercounty transfers for Men’s Football or Hurling. There are instructions below for using the system. NOTE: This process must be initiated by the club secretary/registrar, and that person must have an account in place with the GAA to login.

Camogie CC4 Transfer Form

Camogie players will continue to use a paper form. Camogie transfer form. Note that the USGAA deadline for transfers is March 31st.

Ladies Gaelic Football Transfer Form

Ladies footballers will continue to use a paper form. LGFA transfer form. Note that the USGAA deadline for transfers is March 31st.

Non-club Player Form

The form is used for players that meet any of the following conditions:
1. Male player who has not registered with a GAA club for the previous 24 months
2a. Ladies Football player who has never before registered with LGFA
2b. Ladies Football player who has not played League or Championship for 3 years
3. Camogie player who has not played a competitive game for the previous 24 months
